At the first meeting of the New Year, it was our membership renewal time. Where we could go through the programme for the next six months and have an opportunity to show what we have been making over the Christmas period.
This is a Floating Square Block Quilt from the sessions run by Doreen P in Nov/Dec, made by Pat M.
Here is a log cabin quilt made by Linda G, which has also been quilted with diagonal wavy lines
Linda G originally made this Christmas quilt another way but was not happy with the end result, so she unpicked it all and re-arranged it with sashing inbetween and found the result far more pleasing.
Muriel J displayed two quilts that she has made for Linus.
Hilda R decided to try something different this time, with Floating Square Quilt blocks. She reduced the size of the blocks and although this is not quite finished, wanted to share with the group her miniature version.
Here is another wonderfully completed Floating Square Block Quilt, this time completed by Maureen M
Wishing all our members a Happy New Year.
